This designation is a tungsten electrode containing 2% of dispersed lanthanum oxide for enhanced arc starting and stability, reduced tip erosion rate, and extended operating current range.
- Good for low-alloyed steels, non corroding steels, aluminum, magnesium, titanium nickel and copper alloys.
- Used for both DC and AC applications
- AWS Class EWLa-2, color blue
